Former WWE star Tegan Nox (AKA Nixon Newell) has wrestled her first match since being released by WWE in November 2024.
Nox (as Newell) made a surprise return to the ring at this past weekend's ATTACK! Pro Wrestling Press Start 8 show. On it, she reunited with former Bayside High tag partner Mark Andrews to take on Harrison Bennett and Rayne Leverkusen in a winning effort.
It was the 30-year-old's first match since a dark match loss to Blair Davenport on July 5.
After being released by WWE, Newell took to social media to dispel any rumours that she may not have been ready to compete, writing: "Some things are just out of your control and you can only do as much as you can. Let's clear one thing up though. I'm ready. I've been ready. Just have to show people what they've missed".
A day after her surprise appearance, Nixon wrestled on ATTACK! Pro Wrestling's Live at the Loco show, defeating Jody Threat.
Newell was originally booked to wrestle on ATTACK! shows this past December, but was pulled from them for undisclosed reasons.
Last week, The Girl with the Shiniest Wizard spoke about she wanted to be more 'emo' in WWE, despite the company seeing her as more of a 'girl next door' type.
