Grizzled Young Veterans Wrestle First Post-WWE Match
GYV are back on the Indies
The Grizzled Young Veterans didn't waste any time in returning to independent wrestling.
Formerly known as The Dyad of Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid over the past year in WWE NXT, the tag team officially departed WWE on Saturday, October 14 and unveiled they were Zack Gibson and James Drake of the Grizzled Young Veterans once again.
DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling then held their DPW LIVE 3 show on Sunday, October 15 and DPW Worlds Tag Team Champions JD Drake and Anthony Henry of The WorkHorsemen held an open challenge on the show. That open challenge was ultimately answered by GYV, who made their way to the ring to 'Anarchy in the UK' by The Sex Pistols.
GYV would defeat Anthony Henry and JD Drake in a Proving Ground Match and they will challenge The WorkHorsemen for the DPW Worlds Tag Team Titles at a future event.
DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling is an independent wrestling promotion primarily based in North Carolina and the company has been gathering steam over the past several months.
GYV's next match is scheduled to take place in OTT Wrestling on October 28. Drake and Gibson will take on The Draw.
