GUNTHER & Jinny Get Married
The two got married in the UK over the weekend
Current WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER has tied the knot with former NXT UK star Jinny.
The couple officially got married during a ceremony in London over the weekend. It took place at the Four Seasons Hotel at Ten Trinity Square. GUNTHER shared a photo of the two celebrating via Twitter.
Der Ring General had previously referred to his new bride as his 'wife' during interviews.
GUNTHER is closing in on one year as Intercontinental Champion. At 326 days (and counting), he holds the record for third-longest single reign (behind The Honky Tonk Man and Randy Savage).
The 35-year-old (along with fellow Imperium members Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci) was drafted to Raw on this past Friday's episode of SmackDown, which acted as the first day of the 2023 WWE Draft.
Jinny, meanwhile, announced her retirement from professional wrestling earlier this year. She later revealed that she had decided to stop wrestling due to concussion-related issues.
