There is a new hot free agent on the market. Just a year after signing a deal with TNA Wrestling, Alex Hammerstone has revealed that he is no longer under contract with the promotion. On Friday March 7, Hammerstone took to social media to tell the world that his time with TNA had come to an end.
“I wrestled my last match for TNA at the February tapings and am no longer under contract with the company. Grateful for the opportunities that came my way and excited for what’s next. For business inquires email [email protected].”
Hammerstone made his debut for TNA at the 2024 Hard To Kill event after parting ways with MLW, where he had a dominant reign as the MLW World Heavyweight Champion. He notably feuded with Josh Alexander in TNA before spending much of his time winning matches without too much going in terms of big time feuds and rivalries. Hammerstone was briefly ruled out with an injury at the back end of last year, but returned last month to take on TNA World Heavyweight Champion Joe Hendry.
Hammerstone made some NXT cameos amidst the TNA & WWE partnership. It is unclear where his next steps will be and if any promotions are assessing his signature.
