Highlights Of Triple H's NXT On USA Media Call, Discussing The Brand, TakeOver And Creative

"The Game" speaks...

WWE COO Triple H fielded questions at a media call on Monday, two days ahead of NXT's move to a two-hour time slot on USA Network.

In addition to discussing the show and brand themselves, Triple H spoke on other topics connected to NXT as a whole.

One topic discussed was NXT's TakeOver events. Triple H stressed that there are no plans to expand the length of the shows, and that the primary concern is simply making them good.

Triple H also discussed schedule changes, with the goal of giving Network subscribers more live content. He mentioned that more one-offs such as TakeOver 25 and When World's Collide (scheduled for Royal Rumble weekend) are in the plans.

As far as creative for NXT goes, particularly after moving to USA Network, he says that the core creative team remains, but that there will be new "partners" involved, and mentioned expanded communication. While there will be newer input, he says, "The team is the team."

Audio of the entire media call can be heard through The Wrestling Observer website.
