Hikuleo's WWE Ring Name Revealed

At last night’s WWE Night Of Champions 2025 premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Solo Sikoa’s version of The Bloodline received another new member, adding to the existing collection of Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and JC Mateo. Debuting star Hikuleo showed up at the event, attacking Jacob Fatu and clearing the path for Sikoa to defeat Fatu and capture the United States Championship.

On commentary, neither Michael Cole nor Wade Barrett referred to the former NJPW name as ‘Hikuleo’, despite this being his ring name during recent dark matches prior to Friday Night SmackDown. In fact, his name wasn’t mentioned at all. On the Night Of Champions post-show, a graphic was shown alongside new United States Champion Solo Sikoa which detailed the return of Tonga Loa and the arrival of “Tala Tonga”. 

Last year, reports circled that Hikuleo’s ring name in WWE was set to be “Talla Tonga”, so it seems as though WWE have slightly altered it, but followed through with their planned name change. The newly named Tala Tonga is the brother & cousin of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, so WWE have changed his name to fit with this theme.
