Homicide has been wrestling for over three decades, first debuting back in 1994. Even though he is only 47 years of age, Homicide has put his body through a lot of punishment for the professional wrestling business, and he may now be on the verge of stepping away from the ring for good.
The former ROH World Champion spoke to Counted Out recently, revealing that 2025 would be his final year as an active professional wrestler, and things might be wrapping up as soon as next month.
"I realized in the end, I think I'm done."
Following this proclamation, Homicide said he thinks he will be done before March. He reflected on all the huge names he’s both teamed up with and faced such as Kurt Angle, The Dudley Boyz, Jun Akiyama, Kenta Kobashi, Jerry Lynn, and more, and noted that he couldn’t believe he’d been able to wrestle for such an extensive time.
Homicide made a name for himself in ROH, having several stints in the promotion and having some of the promotion’s most notable feuds and matches, also winning the ROH World Title and World Tag Team Titles. His success translated in his TNA run too, where he secured the X-Division Title, and reigned three times as a Tag Team Champion.
