How WWE Views Austin Theory & Grayson Waller Revealed

WWE have recently decided to team Austin Theory and Grayson Waller up on the SmackDown brand.

The duo have enjoyed victories over the likes of the Latino World Order, the Brawling Brutes and the team of Dragon Lee & Cameron Grimes, with WWE seemingly high on the act.

Asked about how WWE view Waller and Theory during a Q&A for Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp said:

"They have always saw Theory and Waller as high upside. I mean, Waller is very easy for them to do business with as well. Listens really well, and gets them a lot of buzz when necessary. With Austin Theory, I feel like they kind of saw him in that Baron Corbin role where if somebody's coming back to do something, he can take the heat from that person, and it won't affect their booking."

Waller has worked with big stars such as John Cena, Cody Rhodes and Edge since being called up from NXT earlier this year. A previous report claimed that WWE see him as a future main event star.

Theory, meanwhile, had a long reign as WWE United States Champion before dropping the title to Rey Mysterio on August 11.
