Hulk Hogan Unable To Pass WWE Physical
Hulk Hogan would not have been able to clear a WWE physical for the Royal Rumble
Hulk Hogan had quite a presence on WWE programming over the last week in the lead up to the Royal Rumble amidst WWE’s “40 Years Of HulkaMania” celebration. He appeared in a lot of promotional material for the Rumble, speaking in the cold open of the show and hyping up the event on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown, during which he teased potentially being an entrant in the Royal Rumble.
Hogan did so again more than once in the last week when appearing at an ADFreeShows event alongside Eric Bischoff & Conrad Thompson, leading to some speculation that the 70 year-old Hall of Famer could actually appear in the 30-men Royal Rumble match last night. It is noted on Fightful Select that when asked, WWE officials joked that The Hulkster would not be able to clear a WWE physical.
In his 70s and not competing in a match for 12 years when he wasn’t exactly mobile by that point anyway, it was a long shot for Hogan to even have a small physical cameo in the ring at the Royal Rumble.
