A classic stipulation match from TNA will meet religion later this week.

A WGEM report has revealed that independent promotion Destination 6 Wrestling has been added to the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce and leaders from the Illinois city and the promotion's owners gathered on Tuesday to celebrate the achievement.

Destination 6 Wrestling, the promotion owned by Cece Impact to honour her late son, holds their shows in an unusual venue, however. As opposed to a local sports hall or music venue, D6W holds their events in a 200-year-old former church which still contains crucifixes and other items commonly associated with a church.

Now an X will meet the t-shaped cross as the promotion will hold an Ultimate X Match at their No Turning Back X show on July 20. It has been announced that The New Guys will take on The Bank inside a six-sided ring with the title belts suspended above the ring in the middle of two ropes. TNA invented the Ultimate X Match back in 2003 and it has been a stipulation of the promotion ever since.

Christianity and pro wrestling are no strangers to one another. Shawn Michaels previously teamed with God in a No Holds Barred Match loss to Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon at Backlash 2006, with God even receiving an entrance at the pay-per-view. Seth Rollins, meanwhile, previously wrestled as God.
