Isla Dawn Released By WWE
Isla Dawn gone from WWE
Feb 8, 2025
Isla Dawn has announced her release from WWE, tweeting on X: "From NXT UKs White Witch to Raws Bad B*tch. To… ??? See you in 90."
Dawn's announcement would suggest she has been released by WWE instead of being informed that her contract is not being renewed. Dawn is the latest WWE departure, with it emerging during the early hours of February 8 that Blair Davenport, Akam & Rezar of AOP, Paul Ellering, and Cedric Alexander had been released. Sonya Deville, meanwhile, has been told her contract will not be renewed.
Isla Dawn had been a part of WWE since 2018, debuting as part of that year's Mae Young Classic. She was utilised on NXT UK until the brand was shuttered in 2022, at which point she moved to NXT. Dawn initially feuded with Alba Fyre (FKA Kay Lee Ray) before they formed the Unholy Union. They went on to win the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships and the Unholy Union were the final titleholders, with the belts being unified with the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships in 2023.
Dawn and Fyre would go on to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles in their home country of Scotland at June 2024's Clash at the Castle pay-per-view. They held the belts for 77 days before dropping them back to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill at Bash in Berlin.
Dawn has not been utilised on the main roster since November 2024, instead being booked on Main Event or WWE NXT. Dawn's final match with WWE was a Main Event loss to Natalya at the January 27 taping of the series.
