Bear Bronson "Sick To His Stomach" After Bear Boulder's Release & Arrest

Troubling news emerged over the weekend as it was revealed that Bear Boulder of the Iron Savages tag team in ROH/AEW had been arrested in mid-January for battery and had since been fired from the company as a result. Police were called to the scene by the alleged victim, who was his fiancee, accusing Boulder, real name Thomas Wensaw, of strangulation and rendering her unconscious by allegedly standing on the back of her neck. This came among other domestic abuse allegations. After admitting to this to police, he was arrested and taken to Orange County Detention Facility. 

With the public learning of this arrest and his firing last night, it seems as though long-term tag team partner Bear Bronson only found out about it too. The AEW/ROH wrestler took to X to express his feelings of sickness towards the events. 

“I don’t know what to say. I’m sick to my stomach. I’ve been checking in with Rainy since I found out to make sure shes ok, but I did not know the horrific details. I’ve been on a city date with my wife for the past few hours & rn I just want to turn my phone off to be with her.”

Bronson has not competed since the back end of 2024, last teaming up with Boulder in ROH.
