Jacy Jayne Reveals She Thought Mariah May Was Tiffany Stratton During WWE NXT Debut

Blake Monroe's WWE NXT debut immediately led to a case of mistaken identity as new WWE NXT Women's Champion Jacy Jayne initially thought it was WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton standing on the NXT balcony.

"So at first, I thought it was Tiffany (Stratton). I was like, oh my God! Tiffany's here. But, then I was like, okay. Well, she doesn't have a title. Can't be Tiffany. But I'm excited. I welcome anybody to our division. Let's see if you can hang with our division and it's just another shot for me to show everyone that I'm better," Jacy Jayne said on Busted Open Radio.

The former Mariah May made her WWE debut on the June 3 edition of NXT in a segment where several challengers stepped up to Jacy Jayne. May's debut came together shortly after her contract with All Elite Wrestling expired.

May appeared in a Sabrina Carpenter-inspired vignette on Tuesday's NXT where it was revealed her WWE name is Blake Monroe. While inspired by her niece and Marilyn Monroe, Blake Monroe is also the name of an adult film performer.
