Jade Chung at TNA Final Resolution 2024

Another departure from TNA Wrestling has been revealed.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that Jade Chung informed TNA officials over the weekend that she would not be re-signing with the promotion. Chung's deal is expiring at the end of 2024 and TNA had approached her about signing a new contract.

Final Resolution and the TNA IMPACT tapings on December 14 were her final contracted dates with the promotion and Chung was saying her goodbyes on Saturday.

Chung's husband Josh Alexander paid tribute to Chung on X, writing: "I'm a very lucky man to have someone who shares & understands this passion for pro wrestling. My @JadeChung11 busted her ass these past couple years taking on a new role as the TNA ring announcer. She embodied everything I think of when we talk about why the locker room is such a strong unit. Always looking out for others & going the extra mile whenever it's needed. I'm proud of her."

Some within TNA believe Chung's departure is a sign that Josh Alexander will be leaving the promotion when his contract expires in February 2025.

Jade Chung joined TNA in May 2023. She initially served as a pre-show host and the ring announcer for Before the IMPACT before she replaced Dave Penzer as the TNA ring announcer from January's Hard to Kill pay-per-view.

Other talents who have finished up with TNA include Rhino, Trent Seven, and KUSHIDA. TNA have reportedly been asking "a lot of the talents" with expiring deals about taking pay cuts.
