Jake Roberts Wants To Help With AEW Interviews

Jake Roberts wants to help AEW stars' promo skills.

Speaking on a recent episode of The Snake Pit podcast, Jake Roberts explained that he'd like to help AEW talent in terms of mic skills. Roberts stated:

"There's not much interaction with the younger talent. There are a few guys at AEW that welcome me being there. Everyone is kind, don't get me wrong, but that's it. I'd like so much more," he said. "I wish AEW would use me in a position where I was helping people with interviews because I do know how to do that and I can certainly help a few people that are struggling, and there are a few that struggle. You can always get better on interviews, you're never great."

Roberts likened his opinion to that of Dory Funk, who once told him that there's no such thing as a perfect wrestling match - and that if a wrestler thinks they had a perfect match, they should burn their gear and quit.

Roberts first appeared in AEW in 2019 as part of a vignette, before debuting the following year as Lance Archer's manager.
