Kendra Barkoff-Lamy, the spokesperson for Janel Grant, has accused WWE of "continuing to put alleged predators in leadership roles" in response to a report about WWE Head of Media and Production Lee Fitting's conduct while he oversaw ESPN College GameDay.

Barkoff-Lamy issued the following statement:

"How can WWE claim they are committed to improving the company's culture, and at the same time, hire a man earlier this year who was accused of sexual misconduct and workplace harassment in his previous role? The allegations against Lee Fitting during his time at ESPN are extremely concerning. Revelations like this are why Janel Grant's lawyers sent a letter to WWE and Endeavor, urging them to release all current and former employees from their NDAs. The same old boys club who enabled Janel Grant's abuse are continuing to put alleged predators in leadership roles, and this pattern must change once and for all."

Reports this week revealed that Lee Fitting was accused of making comments that objectified women, criticising their physical appearance, and making crude jokes of a sexual nature in the workplace during his 20+ year career at ESPN. An HR inquiry in the Summer of 2023 led to Fitting's exit from ESPN.

Fitting was hired as WWE Head of Media and Production in January 2024 and he produces Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown. Fitting was WWE's replacement for Kevin Dunn.

Janel Grant is suing Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis. McMahon has been accused by Grant of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and physical and emotional abuse. WWE have been accused of trying to cover up the allegations against McMahon, and John Laurinaitis has been accused of sexual assault. The lawsuit resumed earlier this month after a six-month stay expired. Federal prosecutors are still investigating Vince McMahon over allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault dating back to the 1980s.

Janel Grant, through her attorney Ann Callis, asked in October for the nondisclosure agreements that Vince McMahon has signed with former and current WWE employees to be waived. WWE and Endeavor have not responded to Callis's letter.
