Jazz: My Wrestling Days Are Just About Done

The ECW original has been wrestling since 1999

ECW original Jazz has stated that her wrestling days are ‘about over’, after a 23-year in-ring career.

A mainstay of ECW, WWE, NWA, and IMPACT Wrestling, amongst others, Jazz has wrestled a handful of matches since losing a title vs. Career match to then IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo at Hardcore Justice in April.

Now Jazz has told the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast that her in-ring career is drawing to a close, saying:

“My wrestling days are about over. I’m trying to do this tour. I’m going to fill some dates in 2022 and after that, I’m going to be strictly behind the scenes. I work with NWA. I’m an agent/producer for NWA now so I’m happy with that.”

Since that retirement match in IMPACT, Jazz has wrestled five more matches in 2021, four of which being tag bouts:

“It’s a retirement tour,” continued Jazz “I’m only now accepting tag matches. I can’t do any singles matches. My knees are all jacked up.”

Jazz is a former two-time WWE Women’s Champion, and one-time NWA World Women’s Champion.
