Jesse 'The Body' Ventura won't be returning to WWE TV for just one night.

It was recently announced that Ventura will return to commentary for the reboot of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14 from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The series is planned to be quarterly specials and Ventura will remain involved with Saturday Night's Main Event for the foreseeable future, he revealed on the Bill Simmons podcast.

"Handcuffs are off, I can say anything I want about anyone. I am, I'm very excited about it. I don't discuss finances, but it's acceptable and I'll be doing four a year," Ventura stated.

Ventura had a tumultuous relationship with WWE during Vince McMahon's time at the head of the company. McMahon is no longer involved with the day-to-day running of WWE following his resignation as TKO Executive Chairman in January 2024, with WWE now headed by Nick Khan and Triple H.

Ventura signed a WWE Legends deal earlier this year which came after a surprise appearance at a Raw taping in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Following December 14, the next Saturday Night's Main Event will be held on January 25, 2025 - only one week before the Royal Rumble.

Tickets are still available for the December 14 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event. The full card for the show is as follows:

  • Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens - Undisputed WWE Championship
  • Gunther (c) vs. Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest - World Heavyweight Championship
  • Liv Morgan (c) vs. IYO SKY - Women's World Championship
  • Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn
  • TBD vs. TBD - WWE Women's United States Championship Tournament Final
