Jim Ross' podcast partner Conrad Thompson has announced that the legendary pro wrestling commentator is back home and "on the mend" following his recent hospitalisation.
"I finally got an update on the Voice of Wrestling, Mr Jim Ross. As you all know, JR had to do a little outpatient visit recently, and it turns out he got a little bit of a chest cold. He’s got some sort of infection in his chest. They said his oxygen was low, so he spent the night in the hospital, but I’m happy to report that he is home and on the mend. They still haven’t gotten his shunt hooked back up yet, so we’re hoping for that sooner rather than later," Thompson said on Grilling JR.
Jim Ross announced on October 12 that he had been hospitalised due to low oxygen levels. This came shortly after Ross underwent a second brain surgery.
Ross initially had brain shunt surgery on August 12 to remove excess cerebrospinal fluid on his brain, which had caused memory issues and resulted in a month-long stay in hospital earlier this year. Ross underwent a second brain surgery on October 7 due to an issue with his shunt.
