Jimmy Jacobs didn't wait very long to make an independent wrestling appearance following his AEW exit.
Jacobs made a surprise appearance at XICW Detroit on October 12 as he rekindled his issues with The Monroes, attacking Malcolm Monroe III with a chair. This ultimately helped Adam Wick win the Midwest Championship.
Jacobs previously teamed with Adam Wick and Maxximillion to defeat The Monroes in XICW on September 28.
Jimmy Jacobs had been a part of All Elite Wrestling since the Summer of 2023 but he resigned from the promotion last week due to being burned out. Jacobs was said to be well-liked within AEW.
Jacobs reportedly wasn't the biggest fan of Daniel Garcia, though, and he reportedly didn't see the former ROH Pure Champion as a top guy.
Jacobs remained active on the independent wrestling scene while signed to AEW, wrestling for the likes of CWE, West Coast Pro, and AAW. He also had sporadic matches on Ring of Honor TV, which included a squash match loss to Satnam Singh in May 2024 that featured an obscene amount of pyro during Jacobs' entrance.
