Jinder Mahal (Raj Dhesi) Reunites Former WWE Faction

Jinder Mahal has joined up with his old friends

Raj Dhesi (FKA Jinder Mahal) has been keeping himself busy ever since his WWE release, recently showing up as a surprise in Game Changer Wrestling, showing up at last month’s Friday Night’s So High event where he hit his Khallas finisher on Effy to announce his arrival.

This led to a match between Dhesi and Effy at last night’s GCW Now & Forever show, which served as Dhesi’s GCW debut and just his second match outside WWE since his release from the company. During the match, two masked men showed up to interfere and attack Effy.

It was revealed to be Gurv & Harv Shira of The Bollywood Boyz, who aligned with Dhesi, reuniting their old WWE group. During their spell in WWE as Jinder Mahal and the Singh Brothers, they led SmackDown in 2017 when Mahal won the WWE Championships. The Bollywood Boyz were by his side, helping him win matches and getting beaten up on the regular by Randy Orton. The tag team have been wrestling on the independent scene ever since their WWE release in 2021, and they have competed a handful of times in AEW and ROH.
