John Cena Announced For WWE Elimination Chamber

WWE have announced that John Cena will appear at the 2025 Elimination Chamber premium live event.

On their social media channels, WWE wrote:

"The time is NOW! Don't miss John Cena’s LAST TIME EVER in Toronto at Elimination Chamber. Elimination Chamber emanates from Toronto, Canada on March 1st". Cena last appeared in Toronto at this year's Money in the Bank PLE, where he announced that 2025 would be his final year as an in-ring performer.

During his announcement, he noted that the 2025 Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber PLEs would be his last time appearing at those particular events. Cena was recently confirmed for the 2025 Royal Rumble.

The 16-time world champion has competed in seven Elimination Chamber matches previously, winning three of them. His last appearance at an Elimination Chamber event was in 2018, where he competed in the namesake match to determine the number-one contender to the WWE Universal Title (which was won by Roman Reigns).

WWE are reportedly considering Big Match John for a WWE title bout at WrestleMania 41.

Cena himself has said he is not interested in choosing his own opponents during his retirement tour.
