Johnny Gargano: Kenny Omega Is A Dream Match For Me
Johnny Wrestling vs. The Cleaner?
Fresh from leaving WWE after his contract expired, Johnny Gargano has set up a Twitch channel, where he recently fielded questions from fans.
Inevitably, the name ‘Kenny Omega’ popped up, and Gargano had this to say about the former AEW World Champion:
“I think Kenny is one of, if not the, best wrestler in the world currently. So, I know that’s a dream match for a lot of people, me and Kenny, and it’s a dream match for me, too. So, who knows what can happen one day.”
There is every chance we could see this one day, as Gargano is legitimately a free agent right now, and a move to AEW would make a lot of sense.
However, Gargano himself has said that he intends on taking some time away to rest up and be a family man, with wife Candice LeRae due to give birth to their first child in the not so distant future.
But when he’s ready to return, it sounds like ‘Johnny Wrestling’ wants a date with ‘The Cleaner’.
