Johnny Gargano Makes In-Ring Return On WWE Raw

Johnny Gargano is wrestling again

Johnny Gargano stepped inside the squared circle for the first time in 2022 on Monday's episode of Raw as he went one-on-one with Chad Gable in his return match.

Both men fought back and forth throughout the contest, receiving "This is awesome!" chants from the fans in attendance, before Gargano avoided interference from Otis and decked Gable with One Final Beat for the victory. Gargano then escaped a post-match attack from Otis, giving him a DX chop as Johnny Wrestling rolled out of the ring.

Gargano didn't end the night standing tall, though, as he was taken out from behind by former protege Austin Theory, who he has been feuding with since his WWE return. Theory then took a selfie with Gargano before he called him a "bottom-feeding fish."

Kevin Owens proceeded to save Gargano from further damage and he later appeared to give Austin Theory a broken nose during a brawl.

Gargano returned to WWE in August, coming back to the company he left in December of 2021 after his contract expired.

The former NXT Champion recently discussed his decision to return to WWE. Find out more here.
