Jon Moxley is currently engaged in a hostile takeover of AEW, leading the Death Riders faction as the brand new AEW World Champion after retiring Bryan Danielson at the WrestleDream PPV. Moxley isn’t only causing division amidst the AEW roster, but there is also a divide in his own household.

Moxley’s wife and fellow AEW coworker Renee Paquette spoke on Busted Open Radio about their mobile phone situation when discussing the topic of technology. Paquette revealed that although she has an iPhone, Moxley refuses to join her due to his wariness over Apple’s product.

“I live in a house divided where I’m an iPhone [while] my husband is an Android user, and this green text…it just causes me a lot of pain and anguish. But there’s no changing him. The man is set in his ways. It is what it is. So I can never leave him a proper voice memo. If I’m on a plane I cannot communicate with him. It’s very frustrating.”

Moxley spoke on this in his book, Moxin his book, Mox,

“I’m not what you would call tech-savvy. I had a flip phone until WWE basically forced me to get a smartphone (Android all day. I don’t f*** with no cloud. That’s right, bitch, I’m a green texter… what?)”

It was recently revealed that Jon Moxley had been given a lot of creative control when it comes to the new direction of his character in AEW.
