Jon Moxley Vs. Brian Cage Moved To AEW Fight For The Fallen 2020 On July 15

Doubts were cast over the match last week...

Night two of Fyter Fest 2020 was scheduled to be headlined by Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage for the AEW World Championship. The two stars have feuded ever since The Machine won the Casino Ladder Match at Double Or Nothing and their match looks set to be a brutal affair.

Doubts were cast over the bout last week as Moxley's wife Renee Young announced she had been diagnosed with COVID-19. The WWE backstage interviewer tweeted: "Man. What a few days. My show gets cancelled and I get Covid. Wear your masks and wash your hands. Stay safe, everyone."

The Maestro Of Mayhem has reportedly remained at home with Young which meant he would not be ready in time for night two of Fyter Fest which will be taped on July 2.

As a result, AEW announced during the special edition of Dynamite that Moxley will instead put his title on the line on July 15 at Fight For The Fallen 2020. "Hangman" Adam Page and Kenny Omega vs. Private Party for the AEW World Tag Team Championships will replace the main event match on July 8.
