Josh Alexander Suffered Broken Nose In IMPACT Bound For Glory Main Event

The IMPACT World Champion broke his nose while defending the title at Bound for Glory

IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander successfully defended his title against Eddie Edwards in the main event of Bound For Glory, but doing so came at a cost.

During the bout, Alexander suffered a broken nose.

Speaking with Brian Hebner on the Refin' it Up podcast, the champ talked about the match with Edwards being perhaps the toughest of his career to date:

"It's a tough question, but Eddie Edwards [is my toughest opponent to date]. I'm only days removed and my nose still hurts a lot and my eye still hurts a lot but, my chest is all ripped apart like it's never been before from wrestling and it might have been the toughest match I've ever had to be honest, physically.

"A lot [of chops]. Well, I broke my nose and I had no idea where I was for a second and then once all the tears fell out of my eyes and I could see again, I was just like, I don't know what's going on and I was like, 'Just hit me dude', and he just hit me and he was hitting me just trying to wake me up so I could get through that thing".

Alexander has been IMPACT World Champion since defeating Moose at Rebellion in April.

Though he had interest from other companies, he chose to re-sign with IMPACT earlier this year.
