Karrion Kross: I Punched A Hole Through WWE NXT's Mount Rushmore

Kross retained his Title in Sunday's Fatal 5 Way Match

Karrion Kross says he punched a hole right through the Mount Rushmore of NXT after successfully defending the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: In Your House.

Kross saw off the threat of former champions Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole, as well as Pete Dunne and Kyle O'Reilly in a gruelling Fatal-Five Way Match in the main event on Sunday, locking in the Kross Jacket on O'Reilly to secure the win.

The NXT Champion remains undefeated since joining the black-and-gold brand and says, with his win at TakeOver: In Your House, he took down the very best that NXT has ever had to offer.

Speaking to WWE's YouTube channel, he said: "You know what looks good? This (NXT Championship) on me. You know what doesn't look good? People talking trash for three weeks and not being able to back it up.

"NXT TakeOver: In Your House...My House! You wanna say this company is behind me...you're damn right they are, because I don't give them a choice! Because no matter where the time is told...in the end everyone pays the toll.

"Tonight, I just punched a hole through the Mount Rushmore of NXT!"
