Karrion Kross Loses WWE Raw Debut Match To Jeff Hardy

Kross is still the reigning NXT champion

After weeks of wrestling main roster dark matches, NXT champion Karrion Kross made his WWE Raw debut, where he lost to Jeff Hardy in under two minutes.

Hardy (who entered to his long-lost "No More Words" entrance theme once more) missed his Swanton Bomb, but managed to get Kross into a pinning combination, and won with his feet on the ropes.

After the match, Kross cut a promo, in which he said Hardy just made the biggest mistake of his life, and promised that everyone will fall and pray.

Kross did not have Scarlett with him.

In 18 televised matches on NXT, Kross had not once been pinned. His only loss was in a tag team bout on March 17, where unlikely partner Finn Balor took the fall.

Kross has been NXT champion since April 8, defeating Balor for the title at NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver. It's his second reign with the title; his first ended due to an injury vacancy last August. He most recently retained his NXT title against Johnny Gargano six nights ago.

Beginning June 18, Kross participated in several dark matches at Raw and SmackDown tapings.
