Keith Lee Thanks Fans For "The Warm Welcome Back" Following AEW Return

A happy debut for Keith

After four months away from the squared circle following his WWE release in November of 2021, Keith Lee made his All Elite Wrestling debut on Wednesday, taking on Isiah Kassidy in a Face Of The Revolution Qualifier.

The former NXT Champion made quick work of Kassidy, pinning him after a few minutes following his Big Bang Catastrophe finisher.

Lee was serenaded by the fans in attendance at Atlantic City's Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall with 'bask in his glory' chants and more ringing around the arena, suggesting The Limitless One was as popular as ever.

Following the match, Lee expressed his appreciation for the fans on social media, writing: "We got a lot of work to do still. But I more than appreciate the warm welcome back. The person with the sign that had the same silhouette that's on the front of my hoodie.... thank you. Touched my soul. And with sad family times hopefully behind me....let's grind. #ForwardMarch."

What AEW have planned for the 37-year-old beyond the Face Of The Revolution Ladder Match remains to be seen, but plenty of potential dream matches are possible for Lee in All Elite Wrestling.
