Kenny Omega Debut Highlights AEW Double Or Nothing Ticket Announcement Party

Chris Jericho challenges the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion...

The AEW Double or Nothing ticket announcement party featured many intriguing roster reveals, culminating with former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega.

Omega (whose on screen chyron included the title "Executive Vice President") was the last debuting talent to appear at the Double or Nothing rally outside Las Vegas' MGM Grand on Thursday night.

In the midst of his speech, Omega claimed to be a "full time member of the AEW roster." His closing remarks were disrupted by Chris Jericho, who began brawling with Omega at the podium. The fight would see Cody, Billy Gunn, and others get physically involved.

Others who appeared at the party were introduced by Cody, Brandi Rhodes, The Young Bucks, and SCU. They included AAA Cruiserweight Champion Sammy Guevara, Sonny Kiss, Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Barreta), Kylie Rae, Nyla Rose, a contingent from Oriental Wrestling Entertainment (including CIMA), and the Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix). Brandi also mentioned that Aja Kong and Yuka Sakazaki would be at Double or Nothing

Some angles were borne from the ceremony, aside from the Omega/Jericho brawl. The Lucha Brothers attacked the Bucks on the stage, with Matt Jackson taking a package piledriver from Pentagon. Nyla Rose and Kylie Rae had an intense staredown, which Brandi physically intervened during.

PAC appeared via satellite to run down Hangman Page, which led to Page issuing a challenge for Double or Nothing. Christopher Daniels, on behalf of SCU, issued a challenge to CIMA and his OWE contingent for the event as well.
