KENTA Returning To Pro Wrestling NOAH

The Bullet Club hell raiser is coming home

Pro Wrestling NOAH have announced that KENTA is set to return to the promotion for the first time since 2018.

The former GHC Heavyweight Champion is set to return to the promotion on January 1, a week before the NJPW vs. NOAH event as part of Wrestle Kingdom 16.

NOAH confirmed the news at their BEST 2021 event, and followed up on Twitter:

“#ICYMI Ex-NOAH GHC HVT Champion @KENTAG2S returns to Pro Wrestling Noah on 1 January at the Nippon Budokan! #GHCvsGHC”

No announcements have been made as to who KENTA will be facing at the show, with the action set for legendary Nippon Budokan.

KENTA was originally part of NOAH from 2000 to 2014, becoming one of the promotions top junior stars alongside Naomichi Marufuji. After a successful run that saw him win the Jr. Heavyweight and GHC Heavyweight titles amongst others, KENTA signed with WWE, transferring to NXT and taking the name Hideo Itami. KENTA would appear one more time for NOAH in 2018, losing to Marufuji at Marufuji’s 20th anniversary show, whilst still signed to WWE.
