Kevin Nash Says CM Punk Is On The Same Level As Ultimate Warrior For Toxicity

Kevin Nash not holding back in his assessment of CM Punk's conduct

Former WWE and AEW star CM Punk is as toxic as The Ultimate Warrior, according to Kevin Nash.

Making the comparison on a recent edition of his Kliq This podcast, The WWE Hall of Famer said:

"He's already put himself on the mantle right next to The Ultimate Warrior. Go shake the ropes buddy, you punched Luke Perry's son, sucker punching his son," said Nash.

The Ultimate Warrior had a notoriously volatile business relationship with WWE. His various tenures there typically resulted in suspensions, firings and lawsuits.

WWE went as far as to produce the DVD documentary The Self-Destruction of The Ultimate Warrior in 2005, detailing Jim Hellwig's various trials and tribulations in the world of sports entertainment.

Warrior and WWE mended fences in 2014 when the former WWE Champion was inducted into the company's Hall of Fame, two days before he passed away at the age of 54.

Punk's AEW contract was terminated on September 2, upon the recommendation of outside legal counsel and an internal AEW discipline committee, after the 44-year-old had a physical confrontation with Jack Perry backstage at All In on August 27. Perry has since been suspended 'indefinitely' by AEW for his part in the incident.

As well as the incident with Perry, Punk reportedly had multiple confrontations with AEW CEO Tony Khan at Wembley Stadium.
