Kurt Angle: Chad Gable Not Being In The Main Event Blows My Mind

Kurt Angle believes Chad Gable has what it takes to be at the top

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has heaped praise on fellow Olympian and current WWE star Chad Gable, noting that he believes Gable should be higher up the card.

Speaking with Sportskeeda, the gold-medalist had this to say about the 36-year-old:

"That kid is incredible. He reminds me so much of myself. He's a little bit smaller, I think that's the reason why he hasn't been pushed as much as he should have. But he makes up for it with his intensity and his in-ring work and his technique.

"You know, in real life, he could whoop any of those wrestlers' asses. So, you know, he's a real-life badass. To not have him go to the main event level where he deserves to be, just blows my mind. Because he is very talented. Great technical wrestler, former Olympian, you can't ask for anything more than that".

Angle wrestled Gable on the March 18, 2019, episode of Raw, beating the Alpha Academy member in what turned out to be the fourth-last match of his in-ring career.

Kurt has continued to be associated with Chad in recent times, including on last week's episode of SmackDown, where Angle doused Gable and his tag team partner Otis with milk in a recreation of the infamous 'milk truck' scene from 2001.
