Kurt Angle Expects Roman Reigns To Be Gone From WWE Within 5 Years

Could Roman Reigns make his way to Hollywood?

Kurt Angle expects Roman Reigns to be gone from WWE by 2028, with the Olympic gold medallist revealing that he thinks WWE's top star will be a movie star by then.

"Roman Reigns is not going to be in the company in the next five years. That kid is going to be a huge movie star. It's going to happen. It is. There's no doubt. He's got an incredible look, he's talented, he's smart. The kid's going to be a movie star," Angle said on the Kurt Angle Show.

Multiple current and former WWE stars have crossed over to Hollywood over the last 20 years, with the most famous examples being The Rock, Batista, and John Cena. Seth Rollins is the latest wrestler to move into acting and he has been spotted on the set of Captain America: New World Order, the fourth Captain America movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Reigns has done acting in the past, most prominently in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbes & Shaw. WWE President Nick Khan noted in 2022 that the company have big plans to make the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion a crossover star.
