Kurt Angle In Talks About WWE WrestleMania Role

Could Kurt Angle be involved in next year's WrestleMania?

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has spoken with the company about a potential role at next year's WrestleMania 39.

The Olympic Hero recently appeared on the Wrassingh Show and mentioned there were ideas for him to participate in a non-wrestling role.

"They keep me active now. I mean, I was just on the show two weeks ago. They're talking about maybe me doing something at WrestleMania. So they're always reaching out to me to help do media and stuff like that, and kind of be an ambassador for the company. So I like doing that. And I don't mind because I can't wrestle anymore, so I might as well do that".

Angle stressed that talks were just preliminary and nothing was concrete when pressed about what the role could be.

"No, no, it's not even - it's just an idea. And it won't be in a wrestling capacity at all. You know what, there is nothing there yet".

The former WWE Champion retired from active in-ring competition with a loss to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. He has since made intermittent televised appearances for the company, with the most recent occurring on the August 29 episode of Raw.

Kurt underwent double knee replacement surgery earlier this year and recently revealed he was beginning to suffer from memory issues.
