LA Knight Doesn't Think WWE Need To Strap The Rocket To Him

While a huge number of WWE fans believe the company should strap the rocket to LA Knight and push him to the moon, the man himself isn't necessarily in agreement with that plan.

After being asked about Booker T's praise of him ahead of WWE Money in the Bank, Knight told Haus of Wrestling: "Look, that's that. It's been a long time coming; I'll just put it that way. I've said it before, I'll say it again, you don't need to strap the rocket to me. I've been strapping the rocket to myself for a good long time, and you're seeing where it's taken us."

Many fans wanted to see LA Knight win the Money in the Bank briefcase at the namesake pay-per-view on Saturday, July 1 but WWE opted to go with Damian Priest instead, with Priest picking up the win after hitting Knight with a Broken Arrow from the top of the ladder. Based on recent happenings at WWE house shows, Knight instead looks poised to pursue Austin Theory and the United States Title.
