Lance Storm Joins Impact Wrestling As Coach, Producer

Storm had briefly worked for Impact several years ago

Veteran star Lance Storm is once again working as a backstage figure in wrestling, taking on a producer/coach position with Impact Wrestling, as he personally revealed on Figure 4 Daily.

Storm will begin with Impact with their No Surrender event and subsequent TV tapings in New Orleans in mid-February. He will also oversee their one-day Gut Check seminar in March, which is being held in conjunction with the Arnold Classic.

Storm previously worked with Impact for a pair of TV tapings three years ago, and has a long-standing connection with Impact Executive Vice President Scott D'Amore.

After working that short stint with Impact, Storm signed on as a producer with WWE in November 2019. He was one of the many personnel furloughed during the mass April 2020 cuts and layoffs.

Storm called this move to Impact, "...a chance to make the decision I should have made two years ago." He adds that he and his wife liked the security of the position in WWE, "...which is ironic considering it ended up being a six month gig."
