Tessa Blanchard at TNA Final Resolution 2024

TNA agent Lance Storm has opened up about the backstage reaction to Tessa Blanchard, who made her shock return to the company at Final Resolution on December 13.

Blanchard - who was the company's world champion at the time - left TNA in 2020 after allegations of bullying and racism emerged courtesy of various female performers she had worked with.

Storm noted that he only saw positive interactions between Blanchard and members of the TNA locker room at Final Resolution, though he added that he wished she had made a public apology for her past mistakes a long time ago.

Speaking with Figure Four Daily, he said:

"The thing is, it's wrestling, everybody's going to react professionally and if you're against it, you probably just would avoid her so I only saw positive responses and interactions but again, most people don't want to make a scene so if there were people who weren't happy about it they kept quiet so all I saw were positive reactions and clearly she's a very talented worker.

"I think I said this before, I think she would have been smart to apologise, say I was young and stupid ages ago because people have been forgiven much less faster. But not issuing that apology made it drag out for a longer period of time. Again, do people deserve a second chance at some point? I'd like to think so".

A report following Blanchard's return suggested that some talent within TNA were baffled by the decision to bring her back.

There are reportedly some within WWE who are keen to work with her.
