WWE SmackDown Spoilers For December 20

To give WWE’s wrestlers some time off during the Christmas period, the promotion held back-to-back tapings of Friday Night SmackDown last night at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. WWE will also be hosting two tapings of Monday Night RAW this coming Monday at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. 

The following are spoilers from next week’s pre-holiday episode of SmackDown. 

• The Bloodline opened the show for a promo segment, but were interrupted by Drew McIntyre, who has been targeting members of the OG Bloodline in recent weeks such as Sami Zayn and Jimmy Uso (the latter of whom he attacked whilst he was on crutches following his War Games injury). 
• The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu & Tonga Loa) defeated LA Knight, Apollo Crews & Andrade 
• Braun Strowman was a guest on The Grayson Waller Effect talk show 
• Carmelo Hayes defeated Braun Strowman. This was a rematch from this week’s episode of SmackDown where Strowman returned to WWE and squashed Hayes in just over 90 seconds. Hayes gets his win back here against the Monster Among Men. 
• WWE Tag Team Champion Johnny Gargano defeated Alex Shelley
• Bianca Belair & Naomi (c) defeated WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax & Candice LeRae - WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Naomi stepped in to replace Jade Cargill as one half of the tag team champions on this week’s SmackDown, and this serves as the first defence from Belair & Naomi.
