WWE are cancelling one of their weekly shows, according to a new report.

WWE NXT Level Up has aired on Friday nights on Peacock and the WWE Network since February 2022 but Fightful Select's Corey Brennan has reported that Thursday night's taping of Level Up was the last for the series.

"Tonight's NXT: Level Up taping will be the last of the shows run, Fightful Select has learned," Brennan tweeted.

WWE NXT Level Up has been utilised as an enhancement show for WWE's developmental talents and wrestlers have often been booked for Level Up before making their way to NXT proper. Some storylines have taken place on Level Up but the show has traditionally consisted of a couple of thrown-together matches.

205 Live previously aired on Friday nights at 10 pm ET but NXT Level Up replaced the former cruiserweight show.

WWE have already cancelled WWE's The Bump in 2024. AEW Rampage, meanwhile, will be cancelled at the end of 2024 as part of AEW's new TV deal with Warner Bros. Discovery that takes effect from January 2025.
