Latest On CM Punk's WWE Survivor Series Status

Will CM Punk be at WWE Survivor Series?

WWE Survivor Series continues to draw closer, with the pay-per-view set to take place on Saturday, November 25 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. WWE have not had a change of heart when it comes to CM Punk, however.

Fightful Select has reported that as of Monday night, WWE's stance on CM Punk at Survivor Series has not changed. The last word from within WWE about signing Punk was "not as of right now" and him being brought in was a "firm no" in early November.

WWE have had the opportunity to sign CM Punk since he was fired with cause by All Elite Wrestling on September 2 following multiple incidents with Tony Khan and a backstage altercation with Jack Perry at AEW All In.

Punk has reportedly made it clear to WWE that he is interested in coming back but the company turned him down over the belief they don't require another top star at the moment.

WWE even had a line prepared for the post-Fastlane press conference in case the company was asked about Punk which would have stated "that there's no remaining ill will between the two sides, and the possibility is always there, but that Punk wasn't signed, that negotiations weren't ongoing, and that he wasn't planned for the show as of then, and that fans shouldn't buy tickets with the expectation of seeing him."

Punk does have interest within the pro wrestling world from TNA Wrestling and NWA, but he has not agreed to wrestle for either of those promotions as of the time of writing. There has also been speculation that Punk could make a sensational return to AEW as 'The Devil' but his recent teases have simply been Punk having fun on social media.
