Length Of Drew McIntyre's New WWE Deal Revealed

How long did Drew McIntyre sign with WWE for?

After months of speculation, it was confirmed this past weekend that Drew McIntyre has officially re-signed with WWE.

The news was revealed in a social media post by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who sent McIntyre a sword as a gift after he put pen to paper on a new deal.

According to The Wrestling Observer, the 38-year-old has signed a three-year contract, tying him to the company until 2027.

Though Drew will be around for the long term, in the short term he will be taking some time off. He will reportedly miss non-televised live events as he continues to recover from a badly hyperextended elbow. Contrary to what was initially reported, McIntyre will still maintain a presence on WWE television.

Of late, The Scottish Warrior has reignited his feud with The Celtic Warrior following the return of Sheamus to Raw. Shortly before his re-emergence (following an injury layoff), Sheamus teased that he had 'big things' in store for 2024.

McIntyre has also continued to stoke the flames of his rivalry with the injured CM Punk. The Straight-Edge Superstar recently told fans that he will be back in the ring 'soon'.
