It was revealed in recent weeks that AEW had trademarked the terms of “AEW Redemption” and “Royal Redemption”, with the belief being that this was the name of a brand new PPV being added to the AEW calendar in 2026, along with a potential new match type. The belief was that AEW would be adding this event between the months of June and August, slotted in between the upcoming Forbidden Door and All In events. More has now been learned on the potential location for this show.

A report from Fightful Select has revealed that several sources are of the belief that AEW’s upcoming Redemption PPV in July will be taking place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This follows up on AEW’s latest trip to Canada for the Dynasty 2026 PPV, marking just the fourth ever AEW PPV in the country (with others including All Out 2025 and Forbidden Door 2023). It will be the first PPV AEW has held in Montreal.

Adding Redemption to the PPV calendar expands the number of major AEW events through the year to 10.
