Main Event Announced For NWA Return Card

The 10 Pounds of Gold are on the line

The NWA returns on Sunday, March 21 with their Back For the Attack pay-per-view, and a World title match has announced for the card.

NWA World champion Nick Aldis will defend the gold against Aron Stevens at the event. However, the match is about more than just the 10 Pounds of Gold.

According to NWA owner Billy Corgan, the match is also being held in honor of Joseph Hudson, the former Jocephus and Question Mark who passed away on February 25. Hudson had been a tag team partner and general associate of Stevens in the NWA.

Stevens has never held a World title in his long career. The closest he came was in unsuccessfully cashing in a Money in the Bank briefcase on John Cena in 2013.

Aldis has reigned as NWA World champion since October 21, 2018, after defeating Cody Rhodes. He has only defended the belt on three occasions since the pandemic began one year ago.

Also confirmed for Back For the Attack is a four way match between Crimson, Jax Dane, Jordan Clearwater, and Slice Boogie.
