Major Update On Randy Orton's WWE Return

Latest on Randy Orton's WWE return, potentially at Survivor Series

Randy Orton has been out of action since May 2022 with a serious back injury, undergoing back fusion surgery later in the year, but The Viper's comeback looks to be coming up very soon.

According to WrestleVotes, Randy Orton's return is "happening", likely at Survivor Series on Saturday, November 25 or that some point that weekend.

"Regarding the Randy Orton return rumors, source states new merchandise & branding has been approved. Also, WWE will present a large social media promotion / digital material for the comeback. It's indeed happening. Likely Survivor Series or that weekend," WrestleVotes tweeted.

Reports in recent weeks have noted that WWE were trying to get Orton back in the fold by Survivor Series. The 14-time world champion had been spotted at the WWE Performance Center training for an in-ring return in September.

It is believed Orton has been advised by doctors to retire but the 43-year-old seemingly plans to ignore them.

WWE's plans for Orton upon his return are unknown at this time. Survivor Series will emanate from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
