Major Update On When Kazuchika Okada Will Debut In AEW

When could Kazuchika Okada debut in AEW?

Whilst nothing has been confirmed, all reports suggest that Kazuchika Okada is on the precipice of joining All Elite Wrestling, with it believed that the ‘Rainmaker’ could make his debut very soon.

Okada departed New Japan Pro-Wrestling after the expiration of his contract and subsequent fulfilling of prior obligations in late-February, and a report from Fightful Select suggests the multi-time world champion could be in the company by the March 6 post-Revolution episode of Dynamite.

On the pre-Revolution media call, AEW President Tony Khan alluded to a big March for the promotion, and especially the March 6 Dynamite from Atlanta. We already know that Sting’s retirement at Revolution, a new look for Dynamite, and the expected debut of Mercedes Moné at Big Business are coming this month, but the chatter still suggests that Okada will also be added to the mix.

Despite a purported bidding war between WWE, AEW, and TNA for Okada’s services, it’s been long assumed that AEW won the race for his signature. Initial reports suggested Okada could have been in the company by mid-February after the expiration of his NJPW deal in January, but this was clearly not the case.
