Marshall Von Erich Excited For 'The Iron Claw' Despite Inaccuracies
Marshall Von Erich excited for Iron Claw movie, despite a lack of involvement from Kevin Von Erich
The first trailer has dropped for A24’s upcoming Iron Claw, with the long-awaited biopic on the Von Erich family set for a December 2023 release.
After the trailer released on October 11, third-generation Von Erich family member Marshall Von Erich said the following:
“I knew it wouldn’t be 100% accurate because my Dad wasn’t Involved but those of you that know our family know that God played a major role in our story. Still excited about it and think it can help a lot of people that are suffering from loss. They nailed the wardrobe tho,” posted Marshall on Twitter/X.
Marshall’s dad Kevin Von Erich is the last remaining member of the original Von Erichs stable, with the movie set to focus on Kevin (portrayed by Zac Efron) and brothers Kerry, David, Mike, and Chris, and their relationship with their father Fritz Von Erich, founder of the legendary WCCW territory in Texas.
Iron Claw also features The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White, Mind Hunter’s Holt McCallany, Lily James, and MJF amongst others.
