After three years of Hiromu Takahashi dominance, there is finally a new winner of the Best of the Super Juniors.

The final of NJPW Best of the Super Jr. 30 took place today at Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan as Master Wato went one-on-one with Titan.

Both super juniors put together an electric match in front of the 1600 fans in attendance and Titan looked to have the match won after he connected with his Double Foot Stomp finisher. To the surprise of the members of Los Ingobernables de Japon at ringside and everyone in attendance, though, Wato managed to kick out.

Wato then fired back with a Spinning Enziguri, a couple of German suplexes, and his Recientemente II finisher to secure the victory.

After receiving the BOSJ 30 trophy and flag, Wato announced to Hiromu Takahashi that he will challenge for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship at Dominion on Sunday, June 4 in Wato's hometown of Osaka.

Wato advanced to the final after finishing second in the B Block with a 7-2 record. He then defeated "Speedball" Mike Bailey, the winner of the A Block, in the semi-finals on Friday, May 26.
