Matt Hardy Comments On Jeff Hardy's Arrest

Matt Hardy has addressed Jeff Hardy's arrest

Matt Hardy has issued his first comments since his brother Jeff Hardy's arrest on Monday.

Taking to Twitter, Matt wrote: "It was disheartening to hear the news about my brother yesterday. Recovery isn't a linear process & I'll continue doing whatever I can to help my brother be healthy. Being healthy & well is the most important thing for Jeff, his wife, his children & our family at this time."

Jeff was arrested on Monday morning on multiple charges including DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and violating restrictions placed on his license. The police report stated a Dodge Charger being driven by Hardy was "going significantly under the speed limit, weaving across travel lanes and running off the shoulder of the roadway."

A breathalyser test showed that the AEW talent was over three times above the legal limit in Florida. He has since posted bond.

Jeff and Matt Hardy were scheduled to be involved in a Three-Way Ladder Match for the AEW World Tag Team Titles with Jurassic Express and The Young Bucks on Wednesday's special 'Road Rager' episode of Dynamite. The Hardys have since been pulled from advertising for the event, although All Elite Wrestling have yet to make an official announcement. WarnerMedia have also reportedly been told by AEW to halt all promotion of Jeff Hardy.
